The Annual Physical

Introducing the Quarter 2 Challenge video-  Understanding the Annual Physical Exam.  An annual physical is different for each gender, age, and particular lifestyle focus, so in reality we will provide you with the overall structure and let you lead.   

Attached is a guided structure with topics that include:

  • Body Composition (weight, BMI)

  • Diet, Exercise, Sleep, Mental Health

  • Blood Pressure (BP)  

  • Exam, Vaginal Exam, Self Breast Exam, Pap, Mammogram,

  • Exam, Prostate exam, Self testicular exam, PSA blood test,

  • Colon Cancer Screening- Colonoscopy/Cologuard

  • Bone Density Evaluation- DEXA

  • Blood tests: Lipid panel), thyroid (TSH), complete metabolic panel (CMP), complete blood count (CBC), and hemoglobin a1c (Hba1c) yearly

  • OPTIONAL ADVANCED CARDIAC: Lipoprotein a, Apolipoprotein B, HsCRP, EKG, Cardiac Calcium Score, CCTA - Cardiac computed tomography angiography, VO2 Max testing

  • Low dose CT LUNG Cancer Screen 

  • Very optional testing: Galleri Active Cancer Screen-  $950 

  • Myriad DNA Genetic Cancer Testing

What's the Challenge?

  2. If you haven't had a physical within the last year, schedule a 15 minute virtual in preparation for your 1 hour In-Person Annual Physical.  We will talk through getting blood work and next steps.  In comments write: Annual Physical Prep -  SCHEDULE

  3. Forgot when your last physical was?  Just ask.  We are creating a system to keep us all on track with future reminders for upcoming years.  Want to move your annual physical month? Sure! There are no rules.
